The difference: It is funny how we separate or see only parts of existence relating to the spiritual, for some reason we have in our mind set that spiritualty refers to only one or two aspects which usually is something that makes us feel good, this of course has nothing to do with oneness &/or unconditional love so why do we feel this way?
Ideologies; any ideology that stops or hinders one towards true unconditional love & oneness will allow us to just believe certain aspects of existence is of spiritualism, spirituality or mysticism. Where did everything evolve from? From the initial source which is spiritualistic or is it spirituality or mysticism as each of them is fundamentally different within their meaning so below I’ve supplied a definition of the three to get a better understanding of what we are talking about here.
Spiritualism is a dualist metaphysical belief that the world is made up of at least two fundamental substances, matter and spirit. This very broad metaphysical distinction is further developed into many and various forms by the inclusion of details about what spiritual entities exist such as a soul, the afterlife, spirits of the dead, deities and mediums; as well as details about the nature of the relationship between spirit and matter. It may also refer to the philosophy, doctrine, or religion pertaining to a spiritual aspect of existence.
Spirituality: The term spirituality lacks a definitive definition, although social scientists have defined spirituality as the search for “the sacred,” where “the sacred” is broadly defined as that which is set apart from the ordinary and worthy of veneration.
Mysticism: ( pronunciation (help·info)) is the pursuit of communion with, identity with, or conscious awareness of an ultimate reality, divinity, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, instinct or insight. Mysticism usually centers on practices intended to nurture those experiences. Mysticism may be dualistic, maintaining a distinction between the self and the divine, or may be non-dualistic
I would personally define the initial source as being all three but for me personally I would refer to myself as a mystic. The point is the source is of all these three but not all these three denote good feelings as I have mentioned in my post titled I, A Flawed Spirit so is spirituality, spiritualism & mysticism all about feeling good or leads to one feeling good & the answer is no not necessary. What these are about is finding what best suits you whatever it is, it could be in the pursuit of fortune, egotistic looks, mystical experiences or whatever your path you wish to follow. So the big question is if these three don’t represent the spiritual when did it stops doing so?
Disconnection: This is where some ideologies confuse the issue here & complicate it somewhat, they teach us you are no longer a part of the source therefore no longer spiritually connected when you are bad or have become disconnected from God/ the source in some humanistic way. Who or what defines when we have become disconnected? Can we humans with our limited conscious understanding say when we have become disconnected or presume what the sources judgment is upon us? I would say no so when do we become disconnected & who judges us so?
For starters we judge ourselves maybe not in this physical reality but as soon as we pass on but the main point is we never really become truly disconnected. Our connection is defined by what life we have chosen to follow/live within this reality, if we chose to live as a mass murderer our connection isn’t going to be as strong as someone who devotes themselves to spiritual endeavours or someone who devotes their whole life to others & the reason we are never truly disconnected is that everything is of the spiritual not just the things that make us feel good.
Is someone who is egotistical or judgmental connected? Everybody is connected to some extent this is what true oneness & unconditional love is all about it’s all about acceptance not just of the things that an ideology of some sort has told us. Where did ideologies stem from? Man who is only as aware as he’s conscious awareness which is limited to he’s modes of thought which are flawed in one way or another so how can man himself presume what the source is judging us by? Again he can’t because of he’s lack of conscious understanding.
Unconditional Love: Everything is connected even the worse things in life, it is true some people have chosen to live a life of a lesser connectivity but it still doesn’t make them something else separate to the spiritual as this makes no sense at all, even the devil, if it existed, is a part of the spiritual but of course it is hard for us who are just spiritually aware & not spiritualistic to comprehend this because they feel a so called unconditional love in certain awareness states & the devil can’t possibly have anything to do with unconditional love. In actual fact this is true there are entities & beings who don’t feel love but only as we know it, they still feel love like the love of killing or misery & this is usually unconditional probably more than just a spiritually aware person does. This type of love is to extreme boundaries of egotism which in turn is totally non-accepting & conflictive. I think this is why so many have a problem with the ego but like I have explained in previous posts there is a huge difference between being of the ego & egotistic.
What is unconditional love?
Unconditional love is known as affection without any limitations. This term is sometimes associated with other terms such as true altruism, complete love, or “mother’s love.” Each area of expertise has a certain way of describing unconditional love, but most will agree that it is that type of love which has no bounds and is unchanging.
What boundaries are we putting up when we can’t accept that certain people are connected even if it is in a different way to us, what sort of oneness & unconditional love is within this concept? In actual fact there are no boundaries except the boundaries we put on ourselves & others.
Everything is of the spiritual not just the things we want to be, how more accepting can one get!!
