What defines an illusion? Noun 1. something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality. This to me sounds like it is saying that any illusion is a non-existing entity as it has no realism, so what defines real? 2. Existing or occurring as fact; actual rather than imaginary. Science defines our reality as existing but according to certain spiritual concepts this reality is non-existing so which one is it? If you’re a scientist it exists but if you’re a spiritualist or spiritually aware it doesn’t according to certain spiritual concepts.
If it vibrates it exists. Mystics & spiritualists alike have always used vibrations in one sense or another either to change matter & other vibrations like for instance healing ourselves &/or the environment in some way. New age spirituality is a tool for healing & how that works is through awareness which is done by changing modes of thought & thought is but another vibration!! So this is saying in spirituality vibrations exist as does everything else in this reality that vibrates, if it doesn’t how can one vibration exist & another doesn’t? Spirituality is pure vibrative consciousness & so must this reality also be physical or not.
Ok forget that if it vibrates it exists therefore it can’t be an illusion, if this reality isn’t real but an illusion this reality can’t be a apart of oneness then but in saying this this illusion must be a separate part of oneness but where is the oneness in that? This is a simular dilemma to unconditional love, we can unconditionally love the things that make us feel good but we then have conditions on things like the ego, judgment & people like Hitler or a serial killer, where has the unconditional love gone then? To be truly at one like with unconditional love it has to be all not just the things we don’t want &/or desire to exist like this reality for instance, we see this reality as something bad so what do we do? We are trying to cut it out of the equation so again where is the oneness in this?
True oneness & unconditional love is of everything in it’s entirety. It is very human to just want the things that make us feel good, when we are becoming spiritually aware we will feel all the good feelings & by doing so they become a desire & what again is desire? As mentioned in past posts it’s represents conflicts so is being conflictive productive towards awareness? Yes it is but no it isn’t, not if we replace one conflictive mode of thought/ideology with another. For example, we see this reality as conflictive so we want to change through spiritual awareness but if we are still conflictive with any part of this reality we are still in conflict, we have just replaced one conflictive reality for another. The reason conflicts can be productive towards awareness is when we learn by them through life experiences but they are only productive if we learn by them not to shun them in some way.
So the reason why this reality is an illusion is because we are something else & we are not being who we truly are in this reality so it’s an illusion. Again everything that is is who we are as it’s all a part of the spiritual as we can’t possibly be something we are not. Once again this sounds like we are trying to rid ourselves of a part of ourselves we don’t like which is conflictive. Where is the oneness in this concept?
To be aware of true oneness & unconditional love you first have to learn to love & accept the things in life that you detest the most as well not just the things that make you feel good. True oneness & unconditional love isn’t out there somewhere or in some other reality but right here right now all around us like with spirituality it isn’t just of the mystical it is also all around us all the time & to truly be aware of this all we have to do is acknowledge this to be so as acknowledgement is awareness. This sounds as if I’m being contradictory while I’m having ago at other contradictory spiritual concepts by saying everything is of the spiritual therefore this must denote oneness but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We label spirituality as being of all but it’s not remembering it’s only a humanistic label we put on things to describe such an existence.
In all the true illusion is thinking that certain so called bad realties & circumstances that we don’t like are illusions; this is so typical for humans to respond emotionally in this way to the things we don’t like. If you have responded in this way you haven’t experience true oneness & unconditional love now that is an illusion if you think you have.
Note: As I have explained in previous posts I personally don’t believe in oneness as everything being as one but everything is definitely connected so if this is the oneness that others are talking about fine but I believe oneness only existed when the creative source/God was one with itself, after it expanded it’s consciousness into individual entities, as described in past posts, true oneness ceased to exist but again we are very much connected with all of creation which gives a feeling of oneness which is great in my mind.
